I love the long lists of conferences everyone provided. Now I wish I had the vacation time and money to make it to ALL of them!

Alas, I'm here in Colorado Springs and stuck to attending cons in the area. I've really enjoyed Mile Hi Con ( http://www.milehicon.org/Default.aspx ) and Pikes Peak Writers Conference ( http://www.pikespeakwriters.com/ ), and I'm really bummed out that I had to miss out on COSine this year. I was just too busy that weekend to be able to make it. *big sigh*

For everyone going to the various cons this year, I wish all of you good travels and safe returns.

If anyone is a fan of science fiction and fantasy art and wants to enjoy personal interaction with both up and comers and many of the industry's top artists this is THE PLACE to be this May. I can attest from having gone last year that it is an experience like no other.

Since I was not on the podcast:

I don't attend many conventions, because we all know the virtual edition of the Paul Weimer show is better than the LARP version.

Right now, I hope to go to CONvergence and 4th Street Fantasy, both here in Minneapolis.

If I were so lucky as to get nominated for a Hugo Award this year, I will scrap things hard to make it to WorldCon. But only if.
