Tom said, "I wanted to write about my experience, not in terms of what I’d actually done, but in terms of the emotional and physical impact of such a life, a life spent in pursuit of an endless enemy..."

This is one of the things I loved most about this book, but would add that he made the experience such that I saw how I was going through the same struggle, but as a writer instead of a superhero. The endless enemy for me is that perfect balance between pursuing my writing dream and being the husband of my wife's dreams.

Superb book.
