  1. Foundation shaped my worldview for the second half of my senior year of high school. I got the trilogy for Christmas and spent Christmas break devouring it. In retrospect, I’m not certain it was the best way for an impressionable seventeen year old to reshape her thinking. Oh well, it kept me off the streets and out of trouble, and probably was partially responsible for my later interest in Anthropology.
