SF Signal Welcomes Sarah Chorn!

SF Signal is happy to welcome Sarah Chorn to the SF Signal team!

By way of introduction, we asked Sarah to describe herself in the third person. Here’s what she said:

Sarah Chorn has been a compulsive reader her whole life. At a young age she found her reading niche in the fantastic genre of Speculative Fiction. She blames her active imagination for the hobbies that threaten to consume her life. Sarah is a freelance writer, and semi-pro nature photographer, world traveler, two-time cancer survivor, and mom to one rambunctious toddler. In her ideal world, she’d do nothing but drink lots of tea and read from a never ending pile of speculative fiction books. You can find Sarah annoying people on Twitter as @BookwormBlues, on Facebook, and at her website.

Welcome to the team, Sarah! We’re happy to have you on board. So pleased, in fact, that I’m not even going to do the standard bit about how newcomers should but me bagels to win favor. In case you were wondering though, that would totally work. Just sayin’… :D

While Sarah is suddenly looking for the exit sign, check out her first post as a regular contributor, the start of a new column called Special Needs in Strange Worlds. This first installment is titled Disabilities Are Everywhere

In the meantime, please join me in welcoming Sarah to the SF Signal team!

  1. Welcome!

And seriously, bring bagels. When it was my turn and I offered donuts instead, the entire site crashed. I think the server feeds on bagels or something.

  2. I’ve really enjoyed your Special Needs in Strange Worlds posts, so I’m happy to see the column not only continuing, but getting a wider audience. Welcome to SF Signal!
