In episode 215 of the SF Signal Podcast, despite technical difficulties and a slight headache, Patrick Hester wrangles a cornucopia of irregulars to discuss books that deserved a sequel – and why they deserved one. Plus: Highlander 2 and other silliness. Did I mention the technical difficulties?

  1. How can I find out more about this ‘John DeNardo’?

  2. Movies that are similar to Highlander II in that they have many versions and cuts:

    Blade Runner
    Brazil
    Alexander

  3. Oh and to blow Patrick’s mind.

You could have Howard the Duck do a crossover with…Squirrel Girl

(Well, could be worse. Could’ve picked Power Pack)

I am running behind on my listening so I didn’t hear this episode until this morning. I have a 25th anniversary edition of The Princess Bride novel that includes the first chapter to the “Long Lost Sequel, Buttercup’s Baby.” Goldman also wrote an introduction to this like he did for the original story, explaining where it came from.
