  1. I agree with Sarah. Dance with Dragons was painful. And the last 100 pages aren’t that great either. This was clearly the worst of the series. it felt like home work.

    My friend was reading it at the same time and was about 150 pages ahead of me. At one point I complained about one of the characters had been on a boat for like 100 pages, and he just said “I am 200 pages ahead and he is still in the f*^&ing boat”.

    This was the book GRRM needed an editor to say “No”.

    Hopefully the next one will be less painful….

    And Wolfgang Jeschke is pronounced Yeshka…
