    Re: handwriting.

My sixth grade Spanish teacher compared my handwriting to Japanese. So, yeah.

Thanks for doing this, Patrick. This was very cool.

  3. “Bad books on writing and thoughtless English professors solemnly tell beginners to ‘Write What You Know’, which explains why so many mediocre novels are about English professors contemplating adultery.” — Joe Haldeman

  4. Okay. I think I see my problem now. You’re supposed to switch to beer, not start with it.

Enjoyed the interview. Haldeman’s a class act.

  5. I thought that went well. Patrick asked some offbeat questions, and it seems like Joe can talk about anything. The Sfsignal staff questions were good too. I want to see Joe’s book drawings on tumblr. Maybe an assistant can put them there. He has an interesting voice for audiobooks too. He would probably get bored recording one.
