This is What The Amazing Spider-Man Looked like in the 70s
I’m probably showing my age here, but I was a faithful viewer of the 70’s show The Amazing Spider Man starring Nicholas Hammond. The special effects were terrible by many standards, but as a wide-eyed kid starved for genre shows, this was da bomb before da bomb was a thing. Wait — da bomb is still a thing, right?
Anyway, here’s the pilot episode of that series.
I also like the 1960’s Spiderman cartoon, first season only with the jazzy Ray Ellis music.
That at least seemed exciting. Just looking at the opening credits to this…yawn. A guy is crawling on a building. Ooh. Ahh.
The 70’s were a different time, I know. I was there. But still. I remember more exciting credits–the Incredible Hulk, particularly 🙂
