News Ticker

If the participation levels of this week’s poll are any indication, the fanbase of Joss Whedon’s space western Firefly is still going strong.

Most of the votes resulted from this thread on the fan site Fans came out in force to voice their opinion. Given that only one of this week’s poll’s choices was Firefly-related, their decision was quite easy. 🙂

This week, we’ll be making it a bit harder for them with a Favorite Firefly Episode poll. Watch for it beginning tomorrow!

In the meantime, check out and revel in all the shiny goodness.

    Favorite Firefly episode: Shindig

  2. fav firefly episode: war stories

  3. Oh, god, what a choice! But if your favorite is the one that you always come back to, I would have to say War Stories. Though Mal, as usual, is the central character, this ep takes a good hard look at Wash and his relationship with Zoe, and I just love their dynamic.

Though Mal does have the best line in the episode: “I’m lost, I’m angry, and I’m armed.” 🙂

  4. 😛 my favorite firefly episode…huh. i just had an idea, then i lost it in the face of the difficult competition. how do you pick a fave episode when you’re laughing your a$$ off in every one? though i’d probably have to say Objects In Space, just cause even though Jubal’s an evil freak-man, he’s fricking hi-larious! then again, i do love that seen with River and Book with the scary hair….what eppy was that? sorry, its totally blown my mind….:( i could probably go on and on and on and on….but ill just mention one more: in War Stories (is that right? i’m so bad at keeping them straight) when Mal and Zoe are sposed to sleep together. God, that was funny. i’m almost cracking up just thinking about it.:D

Let’s see, fav ep? This is a tuffy. Well, it’s between War stories and Our Mrs. Reynolds. Both are Hi-larious. Hmmm!!! which to pick. I think I’ve watched OMR a dozen times and I keep finding new things to laugh about. My fav scene is between Mal and Book, when Book tells Mal he’ll go to the special hell if he takes advantage of Saffron. Then the scene bewteen Mal and Jayne: when Jayne offers Mal his prize possesion “Vera” in exchange for his new wife.

But in War Stories one of the best scenes is the one between Mal, Zoe and Wash. Mal reminds Wash that he is to bed his wife thereby releasing the sexual tension. Their exchange is priceless. Oh, I almost forgot one other fav: Jaynestown. “Mal, they had a riot on account of me.” Ok – it’s very close but I pick – Our Mrs. Reynolds.

    No, Jaynestown; no, War Stories.

    Good Poll question!!!
