Brandon Sanderson has released his newest novel Warbreaker under a Creative Commons License. The book will officially be released by Tor Books in June 2009.

    Smart move.  It was the release of free ebooks that brought such authors as Charles Stross, David Wellington, David Moody, John Scalzi, Michael Flynn and a long list of others to my attention—and has resulted in me greedily buying up their books as fast as my budget will allow.
