  • CBS’ long running (and milked) crime show(s), CSI has been slowly evolving into more SF territory. Where else but in an alternate reality would David Caruso have another ‘acting’ job? In an upcoming episode of the original CSI, the investigators will attend a science fiction convention for their favorite canceled TV show and solve a murder along the way. Anyone think the attendees will be treated with anything other than contempt and derision?
  • Fox’s Fringe re-emerged in all its pasty whiteness last Tuesday. While it’s nice to see it back on, I have to say “$@%#%$ you Fox for letting Idol run 8 minutes long and ruining my recording.” To make up for it, Leonard Nimoy will join the show for the finale and for multiple episodes in season 2.

  2. It certainly won’t be topped by that dopey-lookin’ “Phantom” costume. It suddenly reminds me, for no reason, an awful lot of that TV show M.A.N.T.I.S. back in the 90’s, which lasted for ten minutes. (I liked it anyway.)

With some good writing, they could do something cool. But that won’t happen.

And Riverworld…*shudder* Please don’t hurt it too bad, Siffy…
