Description: An ancient Goa’uld lord leads a religious cult on Earth.
Not very descriptive, but accurate in the general sense. Seth is an ancient Goa’uld who never left Earth. He’s been hiding himself amongst humanity, gathering people around him in various cults throughout time. The Tok’ra decide to take him out and enlist SG-1’s help.
This one is really, really boring. There’s not much of interest here and, while not as bad as some that have gone before, it struggles to approach ‘good’. The best thing here is when Teal’c attempts a Jaffa joke. Now that is funny.
[Teal’c attempts a joke.]
O’Neill – “Jaffa jokes? Let’s hear one of them.”
Teal’c – “I shall attempt to translate one, O’Neill.”
Teal’c – “A Serpent guard, a Horus guard and a Setesh guard meet on a neutral planet. It is a tense moment. The Serpent guard’s eyes glow. The Horus guard’s beak glistens. The Setesh guard’s nose drips. [laughs heartily]”
