Rate the Iron Man 2 Trailer

Iron Man 2 hits theaters May 7, 2010.

I’d give this trailer an 8 out of 10. The biggest plus is that they pick up on the fact that Iron Man 1 ended with Tony Stark revealing his secret identity. It’s nice to see Samuel Jackson back as well. (Plus, I add 1 bonus point for Garry Shandling as Senator Stern.)

Your turn: Rate this trailer on a scale from 1 to 10 in the comments.

  1. Definitely a 9 out of 10 and almost a 10 out of 10. I’m still a little concerned about the Whiplash character, as some comic stuff doesn’t translate well out of comics. The additions of Cheadle, Jackson, and Roarke (I’m concerned about the character not the actor) are positives. Robert Downey, Jr., looks like he is still doing a great job with Stark.

  2. I’d give it an 8. It looks like a fantastic amount of fun, but I’m a little worried about Whiplash, and the trailer hasn’t done much to dispell that. Still, the story looks like fun, Tony Stark is snarky and the last couple seconds show that the action will be awesome.

  3. Must.  See.  This.
