Free eBook: ‘Forgotten Realms: Homeland (Legend of Drizzt #1)’ by R.A. Salvatore

Barnes & Noble is making R.A. Salvatore’s Drizz’t book Forgotten Realms: Homeland (Legend of Drizzt #1) available as a free eBook.

Here’s the description:

Travel back to strange and exotic Menzoberranzan, the vast city of the drow and homeland to Icewind Dale hero Drizzt Do’Urden. The young prince of a royal house, Drizzt grows to maturity in the vile world of his dark kin. Possessing honor beyond the scope of his unprincipled society, young Drizzt faces an inevitable dilemma. Can he live in a world that rejects integrity?

Update: As pointed out in the comments, although the download is free, B&N requires an account with credit card information. That’s not a problem for current B&N customers and Nook owners, but a bigger deal for others.

  1. Credit card required. =)

  2. Yuck.  Forgot about that.  It’s a much-easier sell to folks who already have Nooks or B&N accounts.  Will update the post.
