J.W. Rinzler has just released The Sounds of Star Wars, a look at all the aural goodies from the Star Wars films.

Here’s a video companion — and Holy Recall, Batman! The video segment at 1:40 is one that has been popping into my head since I first saw it decades ago. It’s the source for the all the blasters in the Star Wars films.
