From a press release:

Nebula Weekend

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer’s Association (SFWA) invites you to join us on May 19-22, 2011, for Nebula Awards Weekend, in Washington D.C, hosted at the Washington Hilton Hotel.

Forty authors and artists-some of the leading voices in the literary community–will be signing on Friday, May 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Books will be available for sale from the Book Depot during the entire weekend. Authors include Connie Willis, Paolo Bacigalupi, Joe Haldeman and many others.

The weekend will include panels and workshops by publicists, authors and editors on topics ranging from promoting your own work to the grandmasters of the genre reminiscing about their careers. The Awards dinner will be held Saturday night. There will also be guided tours to famous D.C landmarks.

Whether you are a writer, a fan or a publishing professional, the Nebulas Weekend offers something for everyone who is interested in Science Fiction and Fantasy, as well as a great chance to explore Washington D.C.
