  1. Oh man, all three of those are just… terrible.

  2. I don’t care for any of them either, but if forced to pick I’d take Recollection.

  3. recollection every time…

  4. If I had to pick, and I mean if you like started crying or something because I wouldn’t, I guess I’d go with The Mandel Files. Recollection looks too simplistic and almost amaterish. There’s something wrong about it that I can’t put my finger on. Resistance? Meh. Skull-like-monster-zombie-alien, and not that great of one. The Mandel Files isn’t actually unpleasant to look at and I can’t tell squat about it, which works in its favor this time.

  5. The Mandel Files, because at first glance the guy looks like Peter Weller.

And Peter Weller and scifi is always a winning combination.

  6. The recollection is for me the best cover. A neat illustration, very dynamic. The typography, well selected and unlike the other covers, takes only a the right amount of space.

Resistance has a nice illustration, but a weak composition. And The Mandel Files is too much noise, we have the face of the guy, the ship, all the leters. is really unappealing.

  7. I like the Recollection best, BECAUSE of its simplicity. The composition is just more striking, and I think the others confuse the eye by having too much information and different fonts on the cover. Also I like that the colour palette is more subtle.

Resistance art at least appears to have something to do with the title. I suppose Recollection is the prettiest. But all three are pretty boring, cover-wise.

  9. Well at least Resistance gives you abit of a headsup about the subject of the book while the other too are really too chaotic for my taste and I think everyones else.
