6 Comments on How Many of These 184 Forthcoming SF/F/H Books for September 2011 Do You Want?

  1. A fair number of these look interesting. 🙂

  2. My head just exploded. I think I’ll stop trying and just watch TV.

  3. How do I filter out pecs?

  4. 15 books added to the amazon wishlist, wonder how many I’ll wind up preordering…

  5. Steve Oerkfitz // September 1, 2011 at 5:54 pm //

About 10-15 possibles. I already have the Lansdale, Tim Powers, John Connolly and Neal Stephenson on order. If you removed the romance novels masquerading as fantasy off the list you could cut it in half.

  6. Great googly moogly, that’s a ton of books. One of the ones that caught my eye last week when I saw a preview for it on Fantasy Book Critic was Tim Pratt’s Briarpatch. Looks really interesting.

The least interesting: Trya Banks’ Modelland. I cannot fathom a world crafted by her that would be anything other than a kaleidoscopic nightmare of mascara, high heels, and crazy juice.
