Hi, John, happy to see that you’ve received the Nebula Awards Showcase 2012.
Could you post a TOC for the three of us who still read this series?
I’ve been reading the Nebula anthologies since the 1970s and I simply cannot understand why they don’t get more love. By now, it must surely be the longest running anthology series in the history of SF, and one of the best repositories of award winning fiction out there.
And yet, these anthologies don’t even make the Locus recommended reading list any more, and no one even bothers to post the TOCs until after publication. You can, of course, guess most, but not all, of the TOC.
When I was in my teens, my best friend’s dad was ALWAYS reading those Man-Kzin Wars books. Are they any good? Worth trying?
Haven’t read ’em myself, but I do recall reading a story in The Space Opera Renaissance that I wanna say was originally published there.
Oh definitely some good stuff in THIS batch, John.
Remember that Larry Niven Kzin animated Star Trek episode (“The Slaver Weapon”)?
Yes. It’s the reason the Kzinti are in the Star Fleet Battles universe. 🙂
That Elfhome cover is soooo good.
