RIP: Ray Bradbury

Sad news…

Locus Online is reporting that Ray Bradbury has passed away. He was 91 years old.

Bradbury is known for numerous works, including The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The October Country, Dandelion Wine, I Sing the Body Electric, and many more.

  1. So sad. He was one of the authors who was most responsible for my interest in science fiction when I was a high school student.

  2. Ray Bradbury is the reason I’m even attempting to write science fiction and is perhaps one of the most profound influences on my life. He was, perhaps, one of the most heart felt and human writer of the golden age of sci fi. When life gets too hard I know that there will always be a Ray Bradbury book waiting for me at home and that is the most comforting thing in the world. Ray, you will be sorely missed.
