Ursula K. Le Guin’s classic Earthsea cycle is being reprinted by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Simon & Schuster:

  1. A Wizard of Earthsea
  2. The Tombs of Atuan
  3. The Farthest Shore
  4. Tehanu
  5. Tales from Earthsea
  6. The Other Wind

  1. Is it me or do these covers look too Narnia-esque? Going to Earthsea always felt like a somber experience…these covers are vibrant.

  2. I can see the Game of Thrones influence in the covers, with the focus on a single, powerful image. I prefer my 1984 copies with the beautiful cover illustrations by Yvonne Gilbert.
