Drift is a multimedia experience from POST-ECHO (a collaborative record label composed of like-minded musicians and artists) combining music with a science-fiction graphic novella.
But what is DRIFT? In the story, “drift” is defined as “The causal experience that occurs when an individual compromises focus during light-speed movement resulting in the absence of time itself at both the conscious and subconscious level.
The following press release offers more clues as to what it’s about:
After much anticipation, Post-Echo invites you to discover the world of DRIFT. A project encompassing the creative contributions of nearly the entire Post-Echo collective of artists, DRIFT is a graphic novella that twists themes of time, memories, and interstellar conflict into a mind-bending sci-fi narrative. The kaleidoscopic illustrations of Andrea Miller and the vibrant prose of Fr. Jones have crafted a vision unlike anything Post-Echo has yet presented.
More than just a comic book, the accompanying DRIFT soundtrack features works predominantly inspired by the concepts that run through the story, providing a unique auditory backdrop.
We invite you to read the entire story, dive into the soundtrack, and explore the world of DRIFT at DriftComic.com.
Printed editions are available for purchase via the ACQUIRE heading, and include a complementary soundtrack CD. Also available is a special deluxe DRIFT package for those who truly want the complete experience, which includes a DRIFT poster of your choice, a Post-Echo E-shirt and DRIFT stickers, along with the soundtrack.
