NY Times best-selling author R.A. Salvatore is best known for The DemonWars Saga, his Forgotten Realms novels, and the popular character Drizzt Do’Urden, and Vector Prime, the first novel in the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order series. According to Wikipedia, Twenty-two of his 50 titles have been on that NY Times best selling list. His latest book, Charon’s Claw is the third book in the Neverwinter Saga, available August 7th from Wizards of the Coast.

  1. Loved this conversation Patrick, and how casually Salvatore was talking about places in the Realms as if he had been there, about “doing stuff on the Sword Coast” and such.

  2. Great interview. You can really tell how passionate he is about his writings. I haven’t caught up to the latest books in the series but absolutely looking forward to them.

  3. R.A.’s passion for creating, writing and living as a writer has inspired me a great deal. I hope to always have the love of creation he has. It amazes me that he’s been at it for almost three decades and still has such a high level of energy. No wonder his tales come through so clean, crisp and pure. He’s poured his very soul into the works and come out the better for it… We all have.

    What a great interview!
