Just read the Edward McDermott story, “Nothing but Vacuum.” Very short, four pages in double columns, probably about 9 or 10 pages in a regular book. Touching tale of a crash landing on the Moon and the dilemma the three astronauts are in, not being able to communicate with Houston. It could be an Apollo mission, except one of them is female. (The illustration shows an Apollo type space vehicle.) Story pulls no punches and had me on the Moon with them.
