Wow. That looks awful. Cruise hasn’t exhibited any range since 4th of July. And this story looks cobbled together from a number of sources. Too bad, because it looks like it could have been an awesome Ark II movie.

  2. I feel exactly the opposite, I love the look of it and am very much looking forward to seeing it. I’m hopeful of it being an enjoyable film given that they are looking to release it later in the spring rather than the graveyard period of Jan/Feb.

  3. The Matrix, Up and Mad Max. Shaken, not stirred. Hollywood blender at work.

  4. I’m actually looking forward to Lee Child’s One Shot movie adaption with Tom Cruise. I wonder how they’ll make Tom 6’5″.

    • I don’t think any Hollywood magic can make that happen, but I think the movie looks entertaining and plan to try to catch it over the holiday break.

This looks like it might be good… Mind you, I agree with Fred Kiesche. It looks derivative. But, I come to it as a fan of older SF, say from the early ’60s and before and Hollywood may eventually catch up with the level of SF in that era

  6. This looks awesome. It doesn’t hurt that Morgan Freeman appears to be in it.

Concerning it being from a “blender”, give me a break. Every single story ever has something from stories that came before it.
