  1. Okay then…time to openly lust for new books. (Have I mentioned how much I love these monthly posts? I have? *blushes*)

Abaddon’s Gate (I’m tearing through Caliban’s War right now so I can grab this on Tuesday..and yes, I should have already read CW by now)

    City of Bohane sounds interesting.

How can I not be interested in Reynolds doing Doctor Who?

iD…despite the fact that I still have vN sitting on my shelf waiting for me to read.

    The Adjacent by Christopher Priest

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

That ought to do it…for now.

  2. Splicer // June 1, 2013 at 2:03 pm //

I will be refraining from reading A Captain and a Corset just because of the cover.

  3. Moonbase Alphan // June 2, 2013 at 12:14 pm //

    mmmm. cover pr0n….

anyone know who the artist is for these recent Frank Herbert (Gollancz) covers? specifically this latest omnibus?

    • I don’t know the artist, but I did notice a anomaly with this one. Amazon lists the publishing date as 2011 even though ISFDB shows June 2013 as the first printing. If it were from 2011, wouldn’t Amazon have the preview enabled, thus allowing readers to (hopefully) see the artist credit?

      • Moonbase Alphan // June 2, 2013 at 8:04 pm //

Amazon UK has it right, at July 11, 2013. No preview to look at though.

        • Moonbase Alphan // June 2, 2013 at 8:14 pm //

aha. there it is on the back covers of the other, older releases. looks like Robert Nicholls.
Unless that’s the dinosaur painter, I can’t find much on him.
