SF Signal Welcomes David Steffen!

SF Signal is pleased to welcome David Steffen to the ever-expanding SF Signal team!

David is an avid listener of audio fiction and as such will be covering that medium here at SF Signal.

We asked David to talk about himself in the third person. Here’s what he said:

David Steffen is a writer and editor and software engineer and a voracious consumer of podcast fiction. He’s the founder and editor of the fanzine Diabolical Plots, run with Anthony Sullivan. Diabolical Plots provides the free writer’s tool The Submission Grinder which helps writers track their submissions and find markets for their work. You can find his bibliography on the DP site. Besides writing and editing, David is writing a text adventure, gaming, and cross-stitching, among other things. When David grows up, he plans to do ALL THE THINGS.

Welcome to the team, David! Since audio fiction is your medium of choice for fiction, that must mean you’re a good listener. As such, I’m sure you’ve heard us say that we loves us some bagels. What better way to say you’re happy to be aboard than warm toroidal masses of boiled and baked dough? šŸ˜‰

David’s first official article as an SF Signal contributor (he did previously write for us an Intro to Fiction Podcasts guest post) is now online. It’s the start of a new series called The Best Podcast Fiction of All Time. Here’s Part 1.

  1. I hope you don’t mind that I brought doughnuts instead. Obviously toroidal masses are the way to go!
