  1. OK: the wrong post to say this, but I have to say this at some point.

I am really disappointed with the SF Signal website change-over. Not about the layout and looks, but about the functionality.

On my computer–a maxed-out 15″ retina MacBook Pro (yes: 16 GB RAM, top-of-the-line i7 processor)–the website loads terribly, terribly slow. I used to think that The Verge loaded slowly, but now SF Signal loads even slower.

On my mobile devices–the latest iPhone 6+ and the latest iPad Air 2–the website not only loads very slowly (even at my home WiFi here in The Netherlands where I have an extremely reliable 180 MBps connection), but looks horrible, as well: a very small column that I need to enlarge to make it readable.

I understand the need to keep a website up-to-date, but–in my experience, so far–the upgrade makes the user experience (of a poor Apple eco-system person) feel very poor, indeed (no problems with the old website).

Put here as a regular website visitor feedback.

  2. OK, to quote yourselves:

“Beware of lighter posting schedules and falling links posts over the next several days…”

That was December 3. It’s December 12 now.

I’ll just wait until ‘several days’ turn into ‘several weeks’.

    • I put that into google translate from to English:

“sfsignal is so awesome we can’t wait for it to be even awesomer!! Keep up the good work!”
