  1. Can anyone help.

I used to enjoy occasionally downloading the podcast but for past 6 months keep getting this message “An error occurred during a connection to

Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.”

I had thought others would get this so the problem would go away, but it is still here.

I use MS Explorer but get the same thing with Firefox.

I use college and public library cybercafés but these invariably have London Grid for Learning protection… I don’t know if this the problem, but if it is it means that no one can download the podcast from London region schools, universities and public libraries that use the London Grid for Learning…

    • Hi Jonathan,

We’ve tested this post and the RSS feed on multiple browsers and are not having the same problem. Perhaps there is some proxy issue going on at your access point?

  2. John this is awesome! You guys are doing tech support? I have this laser printer that keeps saying “PC LOAD LETTER” what should we do?

  3. Cheers John

As this seems to be the case on a number of terminals at 3 different
libraries in my borough I assume it must be some generic security setting thing.

Oh well, I used to enjoy an occasional dip into the podcast, save it to memory stick and listen at home.

But thanks for getting back (and I thought that you guys could use the intel as as the internet gets more complex and cyber crime prevention/ security more sophisticated, such problems may well increase necessitating fine tuning). The downside of my circumstances is that occasionally there are problems like this. The upside is that the terminals are very safe (15 years and not a single virus infection, touch wood).

So many good conventions! I lament that I’ll have to miss them all this year. Stupid “having a dayjob to pay bills” thing is really mucking with my schedule.
