Coming Soon from Kate Elliott: BLACK WOLVES, the Start of a New Epic Fantasy Series
For readers who are chomping at the bit to read The Very Best of Kate Elliott (released this coming Tuesday) and still can’t get enough (looks at Paul)…you better pace yourself. There’s another Kate Elliott book on the horizon. Before the year is up, you’ll be able to read Black Wolves, her new epic fantasy series.
Here’s the synopsis:
In this new epic fantasy series by Kate Elliott, a small team of heroes must take the most desperate gamble of all: to awaken allies more destructive than the hated king they hope to overthrow.
Some choices can never be undone.
The Hundred, once ruled by a tainted religion and demon court, is now a place of prosperity, but treachery still waits in the shadows. Once the captain of the elite Black Wolves, Kellas finds himself standing at a crossroads where he must decide whom to serve and whom to betray. Faithful to the king’s memory but shut out from his legacy, Lady Dannarah fights for the rank she was denied, while three young outcasts leave their homes to find their own destiny.
As broken alliances are guardedly rekindled and old friendships put to the test, the Hundred’s past is called into question and its very future is at stake.

Gotta love that cover.
Just as a clarification for readers, this is set in the same universe as the Crossroads novels, although independent of them.
So that DOES mean there ARE Justice Eagles!
Cover looks like it’s done by Larry Rostant. Anyone know?
[Googles a bit] I’m gonna go with Yes! Check out Larry’s website (click on Warriors and you’ll see other photos with this actor).
Yes, the cover art is by the fantastic and wonderful Larry Rostant. He does have more photos of the model from the photo shoot, and they are really fabulous.
I must note that this is not the FINAL cover. I know of at least one minor detail change that is meant to happen.
Thanks for the write up!
