Sunday Cinema: The Fantastic Four (1994)

Sure, you saw the new trailer for the Fantastic Four reboot and now we’re in that awkward time between trailer and release date (August 2015). You can’t wait to see superheroes on the big screen and even Avengers: Age of Ultron doesn’t arrive until later this week.

Don’t worry, we’re here to help.

Keep yourself occupied with this terrible, terrible 1994 version of The Fantastic Four. I dare you to watch this for more than 10 minutes.

  1. This is astoundingly bad. The acting, the costumes, the sets, the direction, the effects — everything is cheesy. Was this ever on MST3000?

  2. Wikipedia says this was never formally released. As I take your dare and watch past the 10-minute mark, I’m thinking different music could’ve saved it. Maybe.

  3. Whoa. You weren’t kidding. That’s horrible on every level conceivable.

Wait, didn’t Ron Howard produce that? 😉
