The New Star Wars Behind-The-Scenes Video from Comic-Con Brings Good News for Fans

A new video of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars:The Force Awakens was unveiled at Comic-Con this week. Watch it below and rejoice in the decision to keep much of the visual effects grounded in the “pre-digital world”.

All I can say is, it’s about damn time. Performances in the prequel trilogy were wooden specifically because as much as possible was digitally added later. There’s only so much acting one can do sourrounded by green screens. Only Star Wars could suck the soul out of a Samuel L. Jackson performance, amiright?

Here’s the video. See Mark Hamill praise old-school filming methods! See Peter Mayhew in costume! Hear Simon Pegg confess his love for Star Wars! Harrison Ford! Warwick Davis! Anthony Daniels!
