TRAILER: Monster Hunt – The Weird Chinese Martial Arts Fantasy Film That Broke the Box Office

From the looks of its trailer, Monster Hunt promises to be a very weird martial arts fantasy film indeed. It was released earlier this month in China and is already the highest grossing film in Chinese history.

It’s directed by Raman Hui, the main animator on the Shrek films. It’s about…well, watch the trailer and see.
