eBook Deal: Get FRITZ LEIBER: SELECTED STORIES for only $1.99!
Right now, you can get Fritz Leiber: Selected Stories edited by Jonathan Strahan and Charles N. Brown — an excellent collection of short stories written by one of genre’s masters — for the low, low price of $1.99!
When I reviewed it, I called it “a wonderful collection by a writer who should never be forgotten.”
Here’s the book’s description:
Fritz Leiber’s work bridges the gap between the pulp era of H. P. Lovecraft and the paperback era of P. K. Dick, and arguably is as influential as both these authors. From a historical context, Leiber, in fact, knew both of the authors, and his work can be seen as a bridge connecting the many different flavors of genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Edited by award-winning editors Jonathan Strahan and Charles Brown, this new collection of the grand master’s fiction covers all facets of his work, and features an Introduction by Neil Gaiman and an Afterword by Michael Chabon.
This is a limited-time offer so grab it while you can!
Thanks for calling my attention to Fritz Leiber: Selected Stories; I just purchased a Kindle copy. And now I am still marveling at Night Shade’s practice of not including print anthologies and collections’ table of contents when creating many ebooks. I did email the publisher about that and never received a response.
