Finally, a “Batman v Superman” Trailer That Excites Me

When I grew up, I was a DC comics kid, so you’d think I’d be all over the DC comics film/TV adaptations. But quite the opposite is true. With the exception of a few movies and shows (like Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight and TV’s Gotham), I like almost all of the Marvel properties (Avengers, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Daredevil) and almost none of the ones based on DC characters. (Sorry, Flash!) Even the footage I’ve seen for the upcoming Batman v Superman left me cold.

Until now.

Here’s the 2nd official trailer for Batman v Superman and I have to admit, this one, at least, intrigues me.

  1. No I’m sorry that trailer is absolutely awful. Never praise a trailer that spoils the movie and provides a blow by blow outline of the entire plot.

It also reveals that there are too many characters and too many plotlines much like Spider Man 3. Instead of telling one story well, the film will try to tell three stories poorly.

The previous teasers made me excited for this movie, now I don’t even want to see it. I don’t even see how anyone could excited from this trailer!? The previous trailers set up a conflict between two superheroes that naturally flowed from the previous movie where there is no clear right side.

This trailer has a big dumb cgi blob for them to fight with explosions like every other action movie from the past ten years. You honestly find the current trailer more interesting? Why?
